You are hired by Baruch College to use new media to improve the College. What are some suggestions you would make using new media?
     Some suggestions I would have to improve Baruch College would be to have more interactive online classes. Often when registration first starts, the online classes fill up the fastest. Being able to learn from home or not have to commute to the college helps save time and can deliver a learning experience just as good. Another suggestion would be to give students the ability to text message help centers. For example, school cancellations, school events, possible emergencies, bathrooms or escalators/elevators not working. There could also be text message appointments with guidance counselors or professors, to help guide students. There could also be a possible official networking platform for Baruch students and alumni. Oftentimes there are Facebook groups for such things but they are usually quite dead or don't offer a lot of help. Having one giant network for Baruch students and alumni would help create a better community to share and help each other.
